Front Brake Drum incl. Hub for 1966 Newport

Hello,

I'm contacting you from Germany because I have a big problem with my '66 Newport.

Yesterday I wanted to replace my front wheel bearings, but then I noticed that the hub of my drum brake was worn out.
Is this hub available to buy individually? If not, do you have a idea where to buy a brake with a hub that fits my Newport driver side?

Hard to tell from the photo, but is the hub worn or the outer cone of the bearing? The cone is easily driven out with a punch and the new part pressed or tapped in. Lindsay

I had a 64 New Yorker hub machined out to the next size race. It was a tiny bit oversize race. Got it and the bearing from Grainger. The whole labor/part deal was about $40.
An unobtanium new/used hub was $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ when located. Screw that.
And the hub and drum are machined as one piece. A new or machined used drum on a used hub don't mean a round true drum on the car. Unless you put them together as one and go to machining.

Now you just need to get rid of the Mickey Mouse wheel spacer/adapter that puts more stress on the wheel bearing.
