Hey I'm new to all this but figure it's worth a shot.I'd like to convert to front disc brakes and leave the drums on the back on my 66 Fury. What I don't know about is the compatibility of my original master cylinder to the new disc system and the original back drums. Anybody out there done this before?

Your drum brake master will not provide enough fluid for front disc brakes. If you now have Power drum brakes, you will need to upgrade your power booster with a larger or dual diaphragm booster since discs require almost twice as much PSI to operate properly.
That said, I believe you will need the front discs, booster, disc brake master cylinder and a proportioning valve to reduce the pressure to the rear drums.

Thanks for the info Sixpactogo, from what little I know that makes perfect sense to me.
