Fuel Pump Issues need diagnosis

After going through the complete fuel system, and finding no movement on the push rod, I went with an electric fuel pump. That should get the 440 running.
Thanks for all your input!
Kind of strange that the pump rod isn't moving, but sometimes it just is.

If you are using an electric pump, you want to put a inertia (crash) switch in the feed for it. They are cheap insurance as it stops the pump if you crash and don't get the ignition turned off. $20-$65 or if you are cheap (like me) you might be able to source one in the trunk of a Ford Crown Vic.

Here's a Painless switch that is a little over priced, but it gives you the idea. There are cheaper versions that look the same. https://www.amazon.com/Painless-801...SE_INSTALLMENTS:US_IHI_3M_HARDLINES_AUTOMATED
