bob , your racer is getting better . just pulled out some pistons from a older street racer engine , bores got some water in them . that block will need new slugs . so these will get another block bore to them , added some h beam rods from another motor , and a good stock steel crank . and it will be a great runner . the little sleeper dart i'm doing for a customer is waiting for parts to show . the balancer is taking his sweet time getting the rotating mass back . and i ordered up the hp hd suspension for the dart . again still waiting . here is a couple pics of the dart build , the rear wheels are 15x8 now . used the centers from a pair of 14's and the rim edge ring so the customer can run his full dart 14'' wheel covers . had to get the ford 11x2 1/2 drums off his dana 60 , and put chrysler 11x2 1/2 drums on it and turn down the wheel

reg hub on the axles . so the 14'' rim center would fit . oh ya thats ken puccio at the lath n welder on the rims . he is crew chief and head machinist on the ack attack streamliner bike . they've set some records with that machine .

Ok educate me. You put 14 inch centers inside the 15 outer ring. And why is the Dart hub cap welded to the wheel

yes , i found some 15x8 rim bands that we can put the 14'' rim centers in . did a set for my 67 300 rag that i had . and did a pair for the rear on my 69 dart . the rim area for the 14'' wheel covers were cut from the 14'' rims and laid into that 15x8 band . just so i could get some meat on the rear of his dart , and put his wheel covers on , so it can match the fronts with full wheel covers . this thing is a sleeper bob , its going tobe a 500 hp 500 plus fpt 440 at 5500 rpm with headers and a torker intake , alum heads , custom roller cam , quick fuel carb , a built 727 with a gear venders od on it , dana 60 with 4:10's n a track locker . its a 70 dart more door sedan . its going tobe granny's church ride , that super stock dodge , lol ;) .

bench seat auto on the column with torque boxes and subframe connectors . and it will have sway bars big t bars and rear leafs firmed up ps , 11x2 1/2 rear drums , k/h disc's up front

yes it is , 9600 in the engine , 2300 in the trans 2800 in the gv od , 3000 in the r/e , 4400 in the suspension n steering , 1000 in brakes , and then my customizing n assemble time at a bill an hour $$$$$$$$ . told him that he could buy a new 6.4 hemi challenger for what he's going to send . but he's deep into this project and i'm the finisher . well it will be a fast n safe ride , thinking 140mph top speed with brakes and suspension to handle it . going fast ain't a low budget thing . as well you know , so this will be a great driver with balls ! lol ;) .

Well it started raining so I went in the shop & started working on her. Removed the stock steel bumper & started mocking up the brackets for the glass bumper.

did i say i bought it yesterday . its coming down to the shop for its tear down . nice rust free car , oem paint . but its just

parts , and there good ones . the whole disc brakes package , spindle rotors calipers all the mounts , m/c , pwr bstr , valving n lines , running b 400 with 727 trans and a 8 3/4 r/e . lots of lots of great body and other good parts .

unless someone wants the body whole . i'll peel it and scrap the unwanted carcass . and i'm bartering a deal on the rest of the stuff . a couple 46ish p/us and a load of parts .
