Well I pulled the 9.25 rear out & the 8.75 rear I got from Wollfen bolted right up to the spring perches. I think he said it was from an early 70’s C. Looks like width wise it’s just a tad narrower which is what I wanted. Try to get the tires tucked up in. I also moved the rear forward on the springs to the back hole. The hole is too big & swallows the center pin bolt. It was the old ISO clamp stuff. This is all mock up phase right now. I want to get everything fitting. I also ordered some RED Energy Suspension leaf spring bushings. I have been working on this darn car for 2 years on & off. I’m going to be pretty disappointed if she’s slow. Now I get to take it all back apart & put my good stuff in.

well . u bolts should be 5/8's bob . from a truck . well now the 8 3/4 has a longer nose than the 9 1/4 . and whats slow , lighter cars go faster . hens good parts on that gasser cuda !

Got some work done on FURYIOUS. I have the C body rear mounted & painted. C body shocks & shock plates installed.

And after trying some test pieces I decide to use Flex Seal glue to place a cover patch on the rot hole in the pass side wheel tub. The test pieces have held quite well after some trial & error. The Flex Seal DOES NOT WORK like they claim on the commercial. I had to learn that. Over about a week 10 days however the stuff seems to bond quite well & survive a lot of water. So I went with it. I will apply a second bead around the edges in a few days and allow that to cure for a week then I will scuff , prime & paint to help it blend in.

Then over to the driver side. Same issue. I used a heat gun & putty knife to remove undercoating. I also removed some badly rotted metal. This revealed a fiberglass patch previously applied by someone. (I keep finding unpleasant surprises as I work through this car). I cut a patch panel from some thin aluminum just like the other side. It will cover the hole & the fiberglass. I put two coats of a rust encapsulator followed by a coat of epoxy primer. I’ll do one more coat of epoxy followed by a couple coats on grey. Once all of that has dried & cured I will install the patch
