Gear shift indecater

On my 66 fury wagon
I had to drop my steering colum
And for got about the prnd indecater needle now i cant find it
I must have done something wrong.
Any ideas

There is a small stud or screw mount on the shift collar that the indicator is mounted to, it is a small metal wand. Check to see if its is still attached to the collar, if so it usually can be straightened back out. This should be removed before the column is dropped. If the wand is broken off, you will need to find one from a salvage yard or a donor car as the wand is not being reproduced.
