I'm a pretty simple guy really. I love American cars & I believe in almost completely unrestricted civil liberty.

Most civilized people have discontinued the use of that word in polite conversation. I have voted against the gay marriage ban in Ohio twice. Unfortunately it passed anyway. We have evolved but we still have a ways to go.

Somehow I think there are more Libertarians than Civil Libertarians on the board.

I'm no expert but I believe that the two are somewhat synonymous. The Libertarian party is based on Civil Libertarian values, more or less.

I've always thought Libertarians were individualistic anti-gov't and right wing while Civil Libertarians spent all their time promoting minority rights and left wing causes.
