Plus Goldie is a Best in Class contender.....without a doubt!!!

Matt. Please! Just say it.
Put it this way, we went to Niagra Falls but to each their own. I'm not saying there aren't some kool sights to see in the region but none of them managed to entice us.

Thanks for the compliment, but there is still probably 50 things I would like do to get her right. I am going to enjoy her this year from beginning to end of the driving season. Anything I do this year will not put her out of commission from driving.

You got that Piece of advise from Stan I bet. ;)

Mike.. Carlisle is a great show and swap meet.... Lot's of great cars to see and parts to buy.... 5-6 hour drive for you.
It's very well run, the staff is friendly, it's clean, has decent food on the grounds and (important for the happiness of the wife), even has clean bathrooms.

Hotels and restaurants are plentiful and not far away from the grounds. If you want to stay in a little nicer hotel, (although, nothing bad about the ones around Carlisle) you can head towards Harrisburg adding another 15 minute drive to the fairgrounds. Some nicer restaurants there too. Mrs. Big John has a couple places that she likes and I'm always sure to head that way to make her happy.

It's a lot of fun for everyone and with a little thought, you can make a really nice vacation out of it.

If you are thinking about going to Carlisle......better pull the trigger on a hotel reservation pretty quick.
