Got them moved to Fresno!

That's truly unfortunate. Multiple people saying that the uhaul trailer is a great trailer to use but one member comes on and says we are dumb asses and we now have to lock down the thread instead of keeping the information coming along.
Typical I guess. Censorship lives my friends.

It's not even political talk that's getting it shut down.
I guess it is your post @Snotty Can you shut it down yourself?

I looked but I don't know how. And I don't disagree with anything you've written; I just think this particular thread is finished.

Alos, it's not censorship. I'm not saying this topic can't be talked about, I am just tired of seeing something I wrote to celebrate getting my cars to Fresno has turned into the shitty debate.

I'll try to explain this so even the folks here can understand it.
The proper length trailers are available for rent ,just not from u-haul.
Correct length trailer can protect your vehicle on the trailer in a rear end collision.
Too short of a trailer and your vehicle on the trailer protects the trailer.

One has to be pretty naive to put a long car on a short trailer and experience a rear end collision and possible damage to the vehicle on the trailer because other people have done it.

U-haul builds and limits the size of the trailer to limit the weight of the towed car on the trailer in order to limit the total towed weight so people don't tow 10,000 pounds with their U-Haul rental trucks.
They want to rent to folks towing little Hondas.
Their trailers are built heavy to last. The standard car hauler wouldn't last six months as a rental.
Local tow companies keep a car hauler trailer and pickup truck handy so that they don't have to send a $100,000 rollback out 500 miles for the occasional long tow.
My U-Haul tow dolly is second to none. I haul small motor homes with it.

I do agree with you.

And you make me laugh sometimes!

Gotcha! Totally understand.
I do enjoy the forums as they are a vast cyberscape of written word interpretations.

I think you can unwatch the thread if you can't shut it down.
