Graveyard Carz

That's what I'm saying.....most people on FCBO can only dream of restoring Mopars to level that these guys do it.

Don't get me wrong.....we have that level of restoration guys here. Will, Chris, and numerous others on FCBO have done excellent restoration work.

Yep some very nice rides here indeed and don't forget Zymurgy

They have to have some level of silliness to grab enough viewers. I'll put up with it to see the outstanding restorations that they produce. I bet when the cameras are off most of the silliness is not happening. They can't act like that day in and day out and produce that level of restored cars.

I just can't stand the dude always talking mindless ******* yammering. At times while viewing I wanted him to contract some horrible throat ailment so he would stfu. Which is sad since i don't ever want anything bad to happen to anyone. It's all an act. All those reality shows are.

I just figured out that I do have the velocity channel so I will check it out but I'm afraid, with the exceptions of the engine noises I'm going to want it on mute.

Actually, when its muted, it is quite a good show. . .

I like the British show "Wheeler Dealers". No drama and no hidden advertising.

I fully agree. Not many Mopars, although they did re-do a '72 Charger last season. But I really like its all nuts and bolts no drama format.

Same here. The only part that drives me nuts is when they congratulate themselves for turning in a tidy profit of 750 Quid while not including the 200 hrs. of labor as one wrenches and the other is scurrying about the countryside chasing parts.

My take on it is that the unspoken theme of the show is that you, too can afford to drive classics: deal a little, hunt a little, do the work yourself, and you can make a few bucks here and there.

My brother used to rent a ski house in Lake Tahoe every year. He'd find a group of guys to go in on it with him. He'd make a few bucks on it, but it basically just paid for his ski season. He wasn't making any real money, and he couldn't quit his job and be a rental agent, but it paid for the hobby.

If you look at it that way, the show makes much more sense. At least I think so.

That is the best way to look at it. Let's give him a C-body and watch the first FAIL in the shows history - lol

This season, WD is doing a '62 or '63 four-door Cadillac Coupe deVille, so they are going a bit further into unfamiliar (to them) territory.

Im always a tad surprised at how easily they get unobtanium so cheaply. I'll have to watch that Caddy one to see how they do.

I've never heard of this show (Graveyard Carz) but figured based on the bantering here to give it a shot.

Amazingly went to the DirecTV app on my phone, searched for the show, clicked "record series" and bingo. Easy as pie.

Sometimes things just work. Nice surprise.
