This mid 60’s Vette had braided wire covering over the spark plug wires on an otherwise stock appearing big block. Not sure what this is about.

My favourite of all the pics you've posted is the '56 DeSoto. If it's as nice as it looks, that doesn't seem like a bad price either, except that's US funds which is probably around $25k CDN.
