Been there for my 65 S. Fury very recent. They moved a lot of their 60’s car to Casa Grande and don’t know what is where. Then the best bet is to call Desert Valley Auto Part in Phoenix.

May have to but sticking to Plan A for the time being. We are at 115+/- and the car doesn’t have A/C so no rush.Buy an OPG L&R pair then.
Thanks but wrong bracket! When I search the internet, the bracket shows up for a 66 GTO but can’t find the one that matches mine. Thanks for the thought.

It’s a solid piece and doesn’t swivel and it is not a screw on. It attaches to the convertible top bracket which might also need replacement but one step at a time. What is different about it?
Trips??Pontiacs generally run hot too so it really won’t like triple digit ambient temps. Does it have Trips?

No I haven’t. That piece is the convertible bracket on windshield to which the visor bracket attaches. When I take the visor bracket apart by removing the cap, there is a spring and a small washer inside. I thought I would find some type of telltale piece(s) on the floor when it fell but NO, that would have been to easy. I am hoping there was suppose to be a bushing in there which by compression, holds the visor bracket in place. Seems on that it isn’t screwed in but??????
Tri-Power.
Yes.Tri-Power.

No Cupie doll for you and no cigar! Even horseshoes can't save that answer!Remove the whole assembly. I think all you need to do is remove the two screws on the bracket and just that piece should come off. The entire header panel should not be one piece.
