Heater core needed, 1964, non AC

So I have refurbished my entire cooling system, except the heater core. Now that is leaking out from behind the plastic enclosure under the hood!

I see that rock auto parts has one for about $90, but wanted to consult the experts here on this forum to see where the best place to get a decent heater core would be!

More research… the heater core from Rock Auto is not correct.

Brassworks can fabricate one for $ 329. Any experience with Brassworks?

That's not a bad price as they seem to range from $300 to $500.

They are rebuildable. Mine was leaking but just needed the outlet tube soldered. $ 25! Find a reputable radiator shop. I used one in Hagerstown Maryland.

You lucked out on that one! Did you test it out to confirm it was only leaking there?

The radiator shop pressure tested it, and it was fixed. Stones in Hagerstown, MD. Nice young man.
