Quite a few follow from this source: Could sailor on deck survive BLAST-wave of WW2 big gun? (12 HQ Photos)

They tell a story of sorts, and i believe only a few shots are already here. Study the detail of photos if you have time .. seems to me you need to get behind and gun barrel openings on the perpendicular axis. Anywhere in front for several yards, the blast wave could hurt you or worse.
