Wow! The sail panel emblem / crest is red for 1973 -- so the crest you have is for a 1972. It should be worth a pretty penny in this good condition, so keep it -- someone with a 1972 might want to buy it from you

Iam un fear that mine will break. And store this as spare part for this case. Thought it would VERY hard to find one I Europe.

Tank you. I think then if fits together...R22, the bezel...on the paperwork of the radio (Sony, that one was in it) was notet "...1989..." so i assume the change happend decades ago.

If you decide to only drive your Chrysler at night, your radio might be able to pull in some of the few AM radio stations that are still in operation in other European countries

After buying a radio from Moparmarty50 do i assume this right:
- green: rear speaker+ left
- purple: rear speaker+ right
- red: power
- black: three front speakers
*i'am aware of the fact, that there are radios with more cabels. But qou know...not easy to find a good one out there. So i'am fine with this one.
Is the antenna connected to the bolt in the left down corner?
And is this also the point for the radio support?
Will be a good part of work because all wires are cut

The threaded stud on the back is just to attach a support bracket to better support the weight of the radio. However, the main attachment of the radio is via two screws that go in the underneath of the front metal frame of the radio. There are two rectangular openings in the underside of the dash to allow acces with a long screwdriver.
The big antenna plug goes in the round tubular opening in the side.
The red wire is for power (+12V that is live in the "accessories" or "ignition" position of the ignition lock).
The green wire is the left channel (I think), the violet wire is the right channel (I think). The black wire is ground for both speaker channels.
If you have the squarish speaker openings on either side of the dash (which you should have since this type radio was what the car came with originally) you could hook up the radio to those two speakers or new ones you install there. The same goes for two 6x9 speakers in the back. Note, though, that the old radios are designed for 8 Ohm speakers while (I heard that) the power transistors in the radio do not like modern 4 Ohm speakers.
The original layout was a little more complicated as can be seen from this 1971 wiring diagram:
(You don't have the separate cassette player or connector pigtail, everything else should be the same). The Crossover is merely a frequency splitter so the front speakers get a little more of the higher frequencies.

A week of from work had, even with kids, enough time to take care of my 2 veteran vehicles.
The Chrysler got freshly cleaned and waxed (not polished!). And passed the 80.000mls yesterday doing a cruise to a small local meeting with a friend of mind driving his Chevrolet Caprice station wagon.
We also had a meeting at an railroad crossing with an small touristic train (Brohltahlbahn)
