Hello! <--- I'm new!

Glad to see a Paisley Top owner here at FCBO.

Welcome aboard!

Will: I thought Mod Tops and Paisley Tops were two different tops.
Or am I thinking of Gator Tops. Damn. Too many tops back then...
Crap. There were Tortoise Tops too...

Commando, you are correct...although over the years there has been a tendency in some circles to lump all Chrysler Corp unusual vinyl tops under the term "Mod top".

Mod tops were two different tops, Mod tops came in Blue or Yellow (pics below)...they were an A, B, E body thing.

Paisley tops were available on the 70/71 Gran Coupe Fury.

Tortoise tops were more universally available (ie. available on C bodies too and not just the smaller cars). They are often incorrectly referred to as gator grain.

Gator grain was a B. E body thing as I recall.

The ultimate of the "Mod Tops" is the 71 Imperial.

Most interesting fashion signs of the times; I would never have ordered one of these though.

Mopar must have sold furniture in the 70's because I swear my grandmother had a kitchenette set with the yellow "Mod Top" vinyl.

I wouldn't rule it completely out that a supplier for vinyl tops could also be in the kitchen market and use these designs.

I would! But I don't like the vinyl top look, especially these mod tops ;)
I prefer a clean, painted top.

Lengendary works with SMS. I'll bet that's where it is coming from. They told me they get the seat insert material for my car from SMS.
