Just signed up to this forum. Hope to get (and give) as much information as possible. Currently own a 1970 Chrysler Newport with 675 total miles on it.

I also have two Dodge pickups. First is a 1969 D-200 that is a driver needing restoration and the other is my "show truck". That one is a 1970 D-100 with 76,000 total miles. It is as original as any truck that old can be. Paint, interior and glass are all from the factory.

Glad to be here!

Excellent!!
So tell us how you ended up with a Newport with less than 1K miles on it? Great looking truck too.
We never get enough photos, and more of the Newport for this forum at least would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome. You will be right at home!

Welcome, nice stuff. Where did you get such a low mileage car? And love the truck

Hello! I am from ND as well. Those are some beautiful cars. I have a 70 Hurst. Not many of us C body guys around lol.

Welcome aboard from Canada. Great looking car. Where did you find such a low mileage car? Used to own a 69 Fargo Camper Special. Love the Swepties.

Welcome to FCBO! 675 miles that's amazing! If the car is all original I am sure quite a few of us purists would love to see detail photos of the car inside and out for reference purposes, that car looks to be a gem.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City!

Very interesting history. I wonder what the school actually did to the car for the purpose of "studies". And yours is nicely optioned too, but I think your radio is an AM only. Nice colors too. Let me know if you ever decide to sell it! ;)

I know that the front clip was removed, the engine and transmission were removed and disassembled. The AC compressor must have been apart at least once, it's blue now.
The radio in that photo is AM only. Looks better than an empty hole, the AM-FM is in the shop.

Hello from Minnesota. Nice car and trucks. I see you moving up the "you suck" list in a hurry!

Thanks!
I have heard that there is an active Plymouth owners group in Cavalier. I belong (life member) to the Dakota Cruisers car club in Minot. Minot Antique Car Club has been after me to join, but there are just so many hours in a day. I don't like to be spread too thin.
Here is a peek into my "toy box". A 40' by 60' man cave.

This was taken right after I had stripped a 1971 Dodge D-100 that had been used as a farm truck near Butte. It was in pretty bad shape, but there were a lot of "donor parts" that will be good spares for my two trucks.

Welcome from the Netherlands...........

That is about the correct figure. I recently chatted with a gentleman in Canada that has a very nice one with very low miles (under 20K) and his was appraised at 30K (Canadian). The one he has is a twin to the one my parents owned. Theirs was totaled by the third owner, so I ended up buying this one.
Here is a link to the youtube video of his car.
