Thank you for accepting my request to join. I'm very unfamiliar with forums in general and I will do my best with responding. My father in law still has his first car from when he was 16 years old. It is a 1970 Plymouth Sport Fury S23. It's absolutely beautiful and interior is great but the exteriorwill be great once painted. The exterior is pale yellow and we are looking to get it painted the original yellow color again. Does anyone know how I find out the exact color to buy to match? Thank you for any help possible.

Hello and Welcome from Connecticut! VERY nice car your father in law has there, with a great story to boot! Its the exact twin to ours minus the higher performance engine, I only know of 2 other yellow ones. Did you consider adding it to the SportFuryGT&S/23Registry here?…. Home For 1970-71 Plymouth Sport Fury GT & S/23. Thats gonna be a real head turner when its all done, I’m really looking forward to seeing more of it. Regarding your color, the car is called DY2 Sunfire Yellow. We repainted our car a couple years ago in 2022 with PPG paint, I don’t know if you saw it but I posted the paint can in my restoration post. I can get further details on it if you would like.
