Hi!

Welcome! Post some more pics of your Fury...it's beautiful!

The shocks go in at an angle, from the front of the control arm and "up in". Jack up the front end to drop the arms to their max. It'll still be a tight fit but they'll go in. I had to use bailing wire to hold my shocks compressed, they were they KYB gas-a-just. It was a b*tch!

You ain't seen nothing till you have stuff those Kyb's into a 67 Imperial! Had to separate the lower ball joint from the control arm in order to get it out of the way! Oh yeah...it was fun.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! I feel you on that, I had to do the same thing on the driver's side of my '67.
Nice coupe!

Thanks for all the welcomes and advice!

Paint code L-1 Sandalwood Beige, finally an early seventies MoPar that isn't granny green or downtown brown! It had the paisely top which was trashed. I shot the roof body color after I filled in the gaping rust holes. I don't like vinyl tops anyway.

The rims are off an early eighties J-body. They came with the car but I'd rather have the factory standard steel wheels.

No MoPars in the Park this year, I have to work. It will be the first one I've missed in twenty-five years. I used to drive my '63 Savoy or '61 New Yorker there.

I'm hoping to get back to my shocks sometime this week. I can hardly wait, haha.
