How Do I remove this undercoating

Soak it with wd40 for a few days and it'll scrape like buttah. A little mineral spirits and rag to finish the job.

On my 69 Fury the previous owner had coated the firewall and entire underside and trunk with a nasty "undercoating" I used aircraft stripper and a scrapper. The stuff came off pretty easy. Just a hell of a mess!

I cleaned up an engine bay once, using a pressure washer and Easy Off oven cleaner. It took off the undercoating (Ziebart), paint and primer. I was left with a clean surface to paint. Be sure to wear protective equipment, face mask, etc. The stuff is nasty !! It did not hurt any plastic, wiring, etc.

Propane torch and a scraper. Then wire wheel that always does the trick for me good luck and don't blow yourself up.
