How rare is it?

Those service tags are super cool!!! Wish I had ones from my cars. Definetly a display item...behind glass, or scanned and copies made.

I did some searching on the tag from 72 and that place is in a super stock book. It says they sold more super stock cars than any other dealer in the country. Thought that was kinda cool too.

I can not tell you how many hundreds of these I filled out when I worked in a gas station in the 60's.
I look at that little clear vinyl sticker at the top left on my windshield and remember how sadly I still cling to the past.

I still have a push in to the metal oil can funnel. My 16 year old nephew who's into circle racing asked me "what is that?" and I told him it was Richard Petty's oil can funnel. He said "Ya Right!"

Your not alone, the past is my favorite place to go. The present has gotten way to complicated for me.

I still have a couple of books of pre emissions, (1971), oil change stickers that I use when servicing my old cars. The Sunoco station was my brothers business and he and I turned a lot of wrenches there.

Damn, now you've got me waxing nostalgic.... :eek:lder OS:

This is what the gas station where I worked at looked like when I worked there as a kid:

This is what it looks like today. It's owned by the son of the guy I worked for.

Look how much character the old station used to have....looked warm and inviting. Now it's just another sterile building with a name plastered on the front.

Yes. Absolutely. The exterior was that old porcelain coated steel panels, the lifts were the hydraulic in ground style and we went on road calls to jump dead batteries for $5.00. If it wouldn't start, we dragged it back with a tow chain on the back of the owner's go-fetch car at no extra charge...
And guess who ALWAYS had Latrine Duty.....

I don't have this Chrysler scroll on either of my 70 300 verts. Nice car. Are you going to keep it or sell? If you are thinking of selling where is it located?

Pretty sure someone stuck those "Chrysler" emblems down low like that after the repaint. Never seen a set down there before.

I do believe those came on the car ...... The location I have no idea on where they should be.

couple teaser pics.

New carpet is in, the rest is just the way it left the factory
