RARE 1970 Hurst Edition Chrysler 300. Original 38,00 mile car. I bought with seized motor from sitting and bad transmission. Original owner said it kept burning up trannys. I found a crushed cooler line and replaced it, had transmission rebuilt and has been fine since. Less than 100 miles since rebuild 5 years ago...Mechanically excellent...driving condition with current plates. Please be advised this classic needs a complete restoration OR just drive it as an original Rat-Rod!!!!! Year One has all the interior replacement items. I will list more photos of existing rust areas. All tie-rod ends and ball-joints are solid, steering is tight. Disc front brakes. Good tires but of 70s vintage!! I rebuilt the motor with standard pistons, original 906 heads...new oversize exhaust and intake valves, bearings, push rods etc. New exhaust when I did the engine. True "Barn fine" as that's where it's been for the last 20 years!!!. See photos for body condition and interior....Wayne 651-324-3796 Calls welcome. You can Google 1970 Chrysler "HURST EDITION" and research....I believe there were less than 800 manufactured. $500. when you win the auction. See my "Other Items"....................Of note, I do have a near perfect 1970 Chrysler "300" Coupe that could be used to restore the Hurst car. Its a complete, less motor, rolling car. Buyable with title and keys....

I can see there is a rotted out undercarriage even from where I sit.
Shame..

You would think the seller would show some photos of the interior and, like Stan says, the undercarriage and trunk floor. Unless he has something to hide of course.

The attraction to these 300H Chryslers is lost on me. The hood is cool, rear deck not so much. The colors don't talk to me. 500 plus built and a high survival rate make them not so rare. And aside from subtle options they all look the same.

There is a long list of desirable cars on my list before it gets to a 300H. JMHO.

Me too but they're still bad ***.

My feelings are exactly the same about the 300-Hurst. If Chrysler had offered the car in other colors, perhaps with some subtle Hurst badging, etc., I'd be all over it.

This Makeup was considered a Hurst corporate identity just as with the Olds and Pontiac GP Hursts, with some exceptions in black/Gold. These series also were done in an unbelievable hurry by a few workers I read as far as the Hurst conversions were concerned, so the very limited Color choice was probably also due to the tight schedule.

The color still sucks. . .

I'd call it "Long in the tooth" by now. I'd guess they were more spectacular to People when they came out.

I love 'em. I also love my primered Polara that my girlfriend can't figure out why I haven't painted it yet. The Holy Grail of C bodies, maybe not so much but I've always thought they were cool. Maybe because all the C body cars I had seen before seeing a 300H were plain, usually brown or tan and nothing special. I'd take one, but not for the stupid crazy money people want for them.
