I Forgot About Hubcaps

Are those the aluminum truck/vans wheels from the mid '70's?

I grabbed the picture at random from Google.
Upon closer inspection they are steel Road Wheels.
The argent grey in the center has been stripped and the chrome polished.
Where the trim ring is supposed to be is painted silver.
Centers appear to be AMC??
Notice overspray on valve stem.

I noticed the same thing...
We used to turn them 1/4 turn and rebalance... a full 180' if need be.

Always was told if you need to put more then one weight on, then you don't have the tire on the right position

I found a set of the aluminum ones with the later centers for $150. Unless there is a reason they won't work I think I will get them.They should polish up nicely.No more hubcap woes!
