I now have true dual exhaust and Flowmasters

I agree, but it seems my lady likes her music and needs it loud when shes driving :icon_kidra:

Do you listen to the factory radio or do you have an aftermarket system hidden somewhere in the car. I have the factory am/fm/cb radio. It kinda works, sorta sounds like 1978 quality sound.

The 70 and the 71 I have now do not have working radios. They have factory am/fm's but they arent hooked up.

My brown 71 that I sold two years ago to make room for the Challenger had a very nice aftermarket in dash Kenwood stereo in it.

Someone shoot me for selling:tied up:

I finally have some pictures of the dual exhaust and the flowmasters.

Looks good ! I just got mine done too only I used 12" magnaflow's ..... Ended up running both pipes on the right side then crossing back over at the rear axle since the clearance on the drivers side by the linkage is awful... How's yours sound ?

Mine sound pretty good. No annoying drone up to 100 mph.

I have Flowmaster's out back as well and they do sound pretty nice at certain speeds. I eventually would like to do either Hi-po factory logs....or headers..if I could find some that are proven to fit.

Good luck on the headers. What ever you use will have to be modified? I just think performance manifolds are the way to go.

I used Hooker headers on my 71 Polara four door sedan on a 400 block. That was 25 years ago and they fit like a glove, no modifications but tight.

I would think they still make them..........no?

Hooker is now part of a conglomerate with other HiPo companies....not sure if they still sell what you have.

Headman is also supposed to make headers that will fit fuselage bodies, but I have yet to see them on a real car. Got any pics of your 71' with the header installed?....are the clearances the same as the Chrysler body?

You know I think I do but not on the computer. I dont have the software for the scanner anymore either. Perhaps I shold take a picture of the picture.

They were Hookers of 27 years ago. I havent had them since probably 87'.
