I pulled the trigger on 2019 Scat Pack Charger

I've ruled out Challengers, Mustangs, and Camaros completely.

Ruling out the ford and chevy would not be a problem, but why the Challenger?
The Hellcat Wide Body comes with auto, but are also available with three peddles, like this one.
Unfortunately, the manual trans is not available on the Demon or Redeye though.
The 2019 Hellcat WB has 717 HP, up from the 2018 of 707 HP. AFAIK, this is the highest HP manual trans available from MOPAR.
If FCA ever decided to build a stick Hellcat Charger, IMO they'd sell like crazy. But I doubt that's going to happen

I just said last night the my next daily driver just might be a used BMW.

I like that one, except there's one too many pedals for Mrs. Big John to drive comfortably.

John: I think used BMWs are a helluva good value. I think you can get a 550 with an automatic. . .

My son-in-law the Chrysler Tech has daily driven several older BMW's and he has nothing good to say other than lots of features but maintenance is horrific. They bleed all over the floor from all kinds of places and the electronics suck (his words not mine). These are 5 to 10 year old cars he runs. My Magnum with 320000kms has held up better in his opinion.

Go find a nice 2010 RT Stick Challenger and you will have all the fun you need.

That may be true with the BMWs, I haven't really looked into them other than "hmmm... They look kinda cool".

2010 Challenger? Not happening... Wrong for me on many levels including use in heavy snow and needing a real trunk.

My Grand Marquis is still doing well, so we did improvements to the house this year rather than buying a new(er) car. If they would have cut a better deal on the SHO Taurus (manager's demo) sitting on the showroom floor at the local dealer, I'd be driving that now and not waiting for them to finish the new driveway.

Grab that SHO. There aren't any more. My MKS is it's overpriced twin.
And I would buy it again over any full sized sedan out there.
The only other full sized sedans are the Impala/LaCrosse and the Charger/300.

The deal just wasn't right no matter what. It was a "new" car because it hadn't been titled, but it was a couple years old. It had all the toys, but they just wanted too much $$.

The deal I've kicked myself (one of many times) was passing up a friend's black Marauder.

I just saw a kid (30's maybe) in an SRT Challenger, who said he'd like a Demon, but he doesn't have 80k to spend. Had to ask my how fast he got it up to, "160, I'll never do that again." Said the steering wheel was shaking too much. Car looked good. I forgot to ask if it was a stick or auto. At least he wasn't in a hot hatch, even if he was wearing skinny jeans.

I agree Bob...It's always been that way I have some old motor trend mags laying around. Seems like 99.9 percent of the road test they did, the drivers always got the best results with the automatics.

I'm sure I thought I was faster with a clutch until I hit the 40 year old mark....

:poke:It's about style. Three pedals has style, and apparently intimidation factor. Automatics are what the librarian or accountant drove.:poke:

The parts manager from the Chrysler dealership we use stopped in on his way home with this.
