I put a deposit on this, can you tell me what it is?

I will be cleaning out the car tomorrow and give it a proper inspection top to bottom, after that I will make a decision about what happens to it. I expect to find more rust, but hey if the rails and chassis are good, well it might be worth considering for metalwork and rejuvenation.

A little bit of "PINE-SOL" & water, metal and canvas work and it's a keeper Hell they ain't making any more of them 70 Fury Verts you know. Best of luck with her.... can't wait to see more pictures

Bills is a Fury 3 with black buckets...plus Bills has power windows...would turn that car into a slow build...basicly clean it up and replace parts ect as you get them cheaply...may take 5+ years but when yer done have the vert..would depend on undercarriage...front floor boards look not bad...

Odd to see a Fury III with optional bucket seats and console.

Since there were no sport convertibles in 70 I'm certain you see them more in convertibles than the HT.

But let's be honest, bucket seats in a C body are unusual, not rare but unusual.

Good luck, donor car in my book, but some restored worse cars.

....front floor boards look not bad...

Not bad? The bucket seats are practically in the back seat! They're leaning so far back from the rotted floor, there's nothing holding them in! It definitely has possibilities if you've got the stomach for it, and an understanding wife.
Does look like some good parts on it hope you can check it out and do something with it. All in all, Nice save!

The seats were simply unbolted.

Nice save, good for you Gary!

Get the hide a way headlights and you'll have a matching set, vert and hardtop, red and green just like Christmas morning.

nobody here has a car that was worse than mine. four rotten tires, a steering wheel, and a windshield frame laying on a pile of rust. compared to that, this car is pure gold. GO! GO! GO!...

So here it is in all its glory? The rust is fairly extensive, if you look carefully the pillar posts are rusting away as is the typicl spots on these cars. I have given much thought to what it will take to bring this car back, but while it is only time and labor, it is a major task. I recently sold my charger because I already had four projects on my plate and I need to stick to whittling down, not increasing my project pile. So I have decided this car will be parted.
