I tried to toot my own horn last night...

but I couldn't
I checked out the wiring and found that the coil wire in the rag joint had broken
I quickly mocked up a jumper wire and I'm tooting my own horn once again:thumbsup:
I did a pretty good job if I do say so myself :lol:
 
Actually this was an easy diagnosis
I popped the horn ring cover off grounded the horn wire
No sound..
I took a jumper wire and grounded the horn wire to a good ground in the car and it worked so it led me to believe that the internal ground was broken
I opened the hood and put some light on the rag joint and saw the broken ground coil wire
