MM1 M=roof paint=turbine bronze metallic, 2nd M=body paint=turbine bronze metallic, 1=mono tone paint.
Roof 6= 306=vinyl top-black
Trim code L4W= L=Low trim grade, 4=334=bench vinyl split, W=White/black interior colors.
Engine=61=383-2bbl, 270hp
Tranny 5=395=727 torque flight auto.
Radio 1=421=AM-music master/economy 2watts
Speaker 6=426= rear speaker-seat
2 under tinted glass is 522=tinted glass-windshield only
It's not a two tone paint job, so it gets the monotone paint code, that's what the 1 designates. 2 would be for a two tone color combo. The vinyl top is called out in the fender tag, and is separate from the paint code.Thanks for that. If your car is a Polara, then this is (to me) the first documented vinyl top on a Polara I think, something that's been speculated as not possible. This raises a new dimension for how to read the paint code (MM1 in your case) when you have a vinyl top. I didn't think they painted the roof when you had a factory vinyl top.

My 2 door hardtop 1967Thanks for that. If your car is a Polara, then this is (to me) the first documented vinyl top on a Polara I think, something that's been speculated as not possible. This raises a new dimension for how to read the paint code (MM1 in your case) when you have a vinyl top. I didn't think they painted the roof when you had a factory vinyl top.

My 67 2 door Hardtop has code WP2, for white top and red body two tone. I assumed it was a white painted top but may never know, because a previous owner stripped the car and epoxy primed it in black. Having said that it has the division moulding for the roof to quarter panel to provide a break for either a two tone paint, or a vinyl top, whatever that might have been.Thanks for that.
