That's all I ever aspired for. To work hard, do the right thing, and enjoy the fruits of my labor.
I had no desire to be rich. In fact I had an aversion to it. I wanted to be like my mentors in life where the greatest satisfaction was to enjoy traditional middle class values. Now, the middle class has been plundered, raped, and murdered.
I'm turning 65 and The Teamsters just sent me a letter saying it's been nice but it's time to say goodbye to their insurance and hello to Medicare. Why do I have to now have the same coverage as the low class scum of life who never did anything to earn it. The level of healthcare is going to drop dramatically in my case and I find it unfair and disgusting that I have to now wallow in the same cesspool of medical coverage that all the morons, mental defectives, and psychopaths are swimming in.
Life is unfair. Get over it. Yah. Sure. Middle class used to mean that by doing the right thing you could at least get a shot at fairness. Now that one thing about middle-class has been taken away forever. All middle class is now is a title you give to people that work for money instead of being given money.

My parents are on Medicare also. They pay supplemental insurance as well. About $400 a month. My Dad just went over to the VA and just set that up in addition. He will get free prescriptions now.

The health care system for people over 65 TOTALLY SUCKS. Everyone is now thrown into the same insurance cesspool. Even if you are Donald Trump, your Obamacare healthcare needs are totally dictated by rules and regulations that restrict and diminish your freedom on the care you choose to have. You are reduced to the lowest common denominator that includes morbidly obese, alcoholic, smokers on welfare who never worked sucking the system dry because they all want a free Mobility Scooter that the sell on ebay six months later to give the money to their crackhead daughter to go clubbing while they stay home in the trailer to care for her 6 kids all with different fathers.

Don't accuse me of painting with a broad brush. It's the way it is if you clean your glasses.

I paid a ton of dough to carry my Teamsters insurance. Probably 3 times what Medicare/Medicaid and all its supplements cost. The Teamsters didn't give me something for nothing like you all want to believe. I earned the right by breaking my freakin balls all my life to have the best health care available to me and now the gum'mint says Nope, you gots to have Obamacare which Doctors and Hospitals are refusing to accept because it sucks so bad. The remaining healthcare providers that accept Obamacare are either:
1. Indian and Haitian doctors with degrees from the Vetenary Institute of Grenada who see Obamacare as a cash cow by scheduling 30 patients an hour and double billing and ordering a ton of tests from a clinic run buy their cousin, or..
2. Doctors and hospitals who are forced to dumb down their medical care because Section 451, Article 63B, Subsection iii Paragrapgh 549 Line 1,114 says that the hospital will only get paid a dollar ninety eight to remove a brain tumor.
Meanwhile, Walmart is overrun by 15 hundred dollar Mobility Scooters that Obamacare paid $6,000.00 for. Smoke six packs of cigarettes all your life and you are rewarded for bad behaviour and irresponsability.


So, if you're a young adult, what's the motivation now to plan for a better future now? NONE!

By the way, I have friends sucking the VA drier than the Sahara Desert.
One gets his monthly trips to Costco paid for by the VA because VA pays him mileage for doctor's visits. He makes the appt. then cancels it and still gets reimbursed for the mileage. What did he do to get 100% disability? He served in Turkey in the late sixties for two years as a radio operator. Ten years ago he filed for 100% disability due to deafness that he "claimed" was caused by wearing headphones forty years ago. They gave it to him. What do I get for shitting in the jungle keeping my head low and trying not to fart loudly? ZILCH.
The stories go on and on.
