I'm having a disagreement with this guy. Should I drop it?

All 1977 models built for Canada received the predominate KM
speedos while the models for US production had MPH as the
predominate numbers. This began in 76 with the 77 models.
I know this because I ordered all the product for our Chrysler
Plymouth store.

Are you talking about a dealership?

Are you talking about a dealership?

Yes, it is a dealership. We called it the garage back then. It's in Red Deer Alberta
I still have the L in AZ. The truth be known I have 3 there now. 2 are convertibles.
One is the 4spd you are referring to.

Should have a PS VIN I guess if it's a VIP. Moreover the door panel says Fury III.

That was my gripe also.... Good eye... :eek:ccasion14:

My '67 VIP doesn't have a Fury badge anywhere, as it is a VIP and you won't find an unmolested Monaco with a Polara badge either.

I remember looking at the speedo in a Royal Monaco RCMP car in the late '70's. The numbers went to 220 km/h. IIRC, that was the highest number on it.
