Indeed, but I wonder is there a chance they can be purchased, stripped, and the carcasses scrapped?Short of spending 200k on a restoration they're just parts cars now.

I realize folks reject such vehicles but soon they'll be all that's left out there so save what can be saved while you can.
 
Yeah.Imagine how those interiors are.Shame somebody doesn,t strip the interiors when the cars 1st get there and store them.But the space and effort would be a bit much.B.B
 
I certainly wouldn’t mind a 72 imp interior in my 72 base royal. I’d just have to worry about making sure it’s in park before taking a nap. Lol
 
They were rolling living rooms.My NYB was very comfy.But i loved how the Imps. could be optioned with rear ac and rear heaters.GM and Ford i don,t believe did those things.The leather and brocades were lovely.B.B

I haven't personally been to the yard yet, but have purchased NOS eBay parts from them for my '71 NYer and '77 Cordoba.

71NewYorkMan - did you ever go to that yard? I have a few parts needed for my 72 Imperial, and I'd like to get "eyes on" all of those 72/73 quarter panes for rust. Thanks, Ron

At least seller is honest and offering up all the hard to find-- one year only--nothing in repop-- bits from this doomed derby Imp.
Probably got the car cheap and will double or triple his investment between selling parts and the derby "purse"
