Does anyone have experience with an in car sensor. Apparently was on AT1 systems. Two wires are connected to the air tube from the aspirator. It looked like a fragile heat affected wire across the tube and connected to the wires, one on each side. I couldn't find it online yet and part number is 2936048. It seems repairable like a map sensor wire.

Assuming it's the same or similar to AutoTemp II that was in my 77 New Yorker it's a thermistor. The FSM may explain the resistance values it should have at specific temperatures. If you can't find a used one you may be able to source a thermistor with similar characteristics.

I have the one from my 77 (which I converted to non-Auto Temp) and it tested good. But I don't know if they're interchangeable.

I'll check on that. All I have is two leads and no thermistor
