Those are OK inside, but outside not so much.
Two problems... One is the wind whipping the plastic around and wearing the paint of the edges.
The second problem is more critical.... It holds moisture against the car. A really wet day, followed by a sunny day and you will see the moisture collecting on the inside surface of the cover. The cloth covers are breathable and that won't happen.... But once a cloth cover is soaked, it will also hold moisture against the car.... But not as bad as the plastic.
Really... Better off with none if you are keeping the car outside. Inside... That would be OK...
