OK another stupid question. What are the 8 black plastic straps that hold the wire harness to the inner fender, in the sheet metal channel called? Who sells them and what size are they?

They are usually called wire harness straps, and they vary from year to year. It kind of depends on your application. Some are black, some are white. Different sizes too. Some just aren't available too.

I usually look on eBay for such things, then look at any of the vendors that sell parts like this.

stupid answer...depends on what year car...most of the stuff out there that fits other mopars and everyone carries don't fit slab sides...i think Quirey Quality in Pa is the only one that makes the slab ones....page 24 of Gary Goers pdf (page itself marked 22)

Model year and platform definitely make a difference as to what is correct for replacements. A difference between the hole centerlines might seem minor, but they won't fit if they are too short and not be effective if they are too long. Length matters.

Measure the center-to-center hole length on your vehicle and go from there.

I finally found the right ones from Quirley for ‘68, the black ones with the reliefs going the right direction.
Fender harness straps

This thread has many examples throughout the years and the QQE p/n

Not sure we even know what year it the OP is referring to though.
