It´s time for the Slab picture thread

Spotted downtown San Mateo yesterday evening....

That should be it for C-body sightings around here for the rest of the year!

The 880 is running real nice. I did the firm feel suspension upgrade and find it was money well spent. It goes down the road with 1 finger on the steering wheel. And straight as a arrow.
I am running a single diaphragm brake booster. On the hunt for a dual unit. It needs to be the small diameter one due to the hp exhaust manifolds on the 440. I have a few leads to follow up on.

Just get tti headers. :poke:Probably not in the budget, though.

The guy that did the safety inspection razzed me for not going whole hog on the exhaust. It would solve my brake booster delima. Spend the booster money on headers. I think the single diaphragm will get me thru the summer. Could be a good winter project. Thanks for the input. The inspection guy had to wipe drool off his face when he checked out the TTI art work.

A recently purchased slab side that I wish I had seen first. I sure wish it was mine! My favorite slab side - a 1965 Chrysler 300L in the best "color" available although I also like spanish red, like Scott's convertible (rexus31) 1965 300. This is a killer car too! The new owner claims it is an all original low mileage car - never restored.

Another shameless photo or three. Downtown Fargo. In front of the Fargo Theatre. I want an early morning Picture with the Marquee lit up. But I will need a better camera than my phone.

The 67 Polara 2 dr Hardtop. Originally PP-1 bright red with white top. I think it was a factory two tone (not a vinyl top), but am not sure.

I’m seriously thinking about doing the scarebird upgrade. How hard was it to collect up all the parts. I see they’re ford rotors I sure hope they work better than the ones on my Torino lol !!!

Cool car by the way.
The Scarebird kit is commented on here: 1967 Polara build thread The brakes are just a fraction of the cost of the conversion. Also figure a front end rebuild (your boots will be toast), a plan on upgrading the power brake booster/master cylinder, and lots of time and money spent on building the brake lines. The rotors are from the Galaxie/LTD line up, so should be better than a Torino.
