And who's to blame?
You.
Me.
All of us.

I stood my ground on this all my life only to to trampled by a stampede of people looking to buy as many things as possible with the least amt. of money.
So, companies like Sears, DeWalt, Whirlpool, resort to selling crap to stay in business.

Thank you Walmart for Effing this country over for good.

Everybody says, Buy American.
Just like everybody says I didn't vote for Obama.
Yet Obama is in there. So WhoTF voted for him.
Somebody's lying on both issues.

Interesting reading...

Our local Sears is the ONLY store left in a former mall (the mall is empty, but still standing). Only reason is that Sears owns that part of the building and did not lease it. There is a mega-church at the opposite end (where Dillard's used to be), and that is it. The only time you see more than a few cars parked there is at Christmastime.

Iran is a good example. They have oil to sell, but have to buy it processed from other countries. They don't have a refinery. The U.S. Gov't makes tax money Exporting it, and they make tax money Importing it. The trick is to export more than you Import. The Gov't is the third leading profit making business in the U.S.

The US does NOT export crude oil - only refined oil and fuel. It is currently illegal to ship crude out of the US, but our gub'mint is working on "fixing" that issue.

F@#$ !
Can't even get people who live in the USA to buy American when it comes to gas.
For years, I went to one brand only because they were the only North American gasoline avail. in the North East. Refinary in Nova Scotia, I think. I heard the refinery got shut down?

I used to drop at a lak the piped crude straight to Canada to mix with sand oil.

Enron did it all the time. Enron oil and gas. 1986-89 I know for sure. They didn't just transport oil and natural gas in pipelines in the U.S. And, Keep in mind 1992-2000 whenever The Clintons travelled overseas, a group of Enron execs travelled with them. Their job was just that.
