Congrats. You've known about this specific car sitting somewhere for 20yrs or just wanted this model? After 20yrs it must be mighty satisfying to have it sitting there in front of you.

Thank you. It was in fact the same car. Tried to buy it outside a car show 20 years ago from what turned out to be the 2nd owner, but in the same family. His uncle was the first owner but passed away with only 1,700 miles on the car. When I first saw her she had 50,000 miles, and she now has 52,610 miles. She is an orginal 440 4bl car with the towing package. She has orginal paint, interior, with air and cruise. The 2nd owner passed away in 07 and his wife said it was time to let her go to a new home. She cried a little when we left with her on the roll back.

Congrats, nice score! Way to be patient. Good things come to those who wait!

Thank you. This car will remain the same as long as I'm around. Way back then I thought what a Bluesmobile this car would make! But She has stayed pure for 40 years and will stay that way for 40 more. I just love this car! Hope to post more pics later.

No way. 20 years I thought so but not now. I will only change the wheels to a set of powder coated cop car wheels and dog dishes while we restore the orginal steel wheels back to the way they were. I am missing one hub cap,I'm hoping she has it.

Congrats. More pics please.

So, you have a bluesmobile? Pics?

Those caps are fairly easy to find Nick, shouldn't be an issue to replace it. They are however, the worst I've ever tried to keep on a wheel, they love to visit strange places near your driving lane.

I had a Bluesmobile. I sold it almost three years ago to a great guy in Chicago. I had it for a little over 15yrs. It was a Tennessee car it's whole life so it had very little rust.DSC00491 (Medium).jpgHPIM0791 (Medium).jpg

more pics

DSC01680 (Medium).JPGDSC01698 (Medium).jpgThe first pic is the late owners wife. Mrs. Rollen. She is so sweet and kind. It was really hard for her to let the Monaco go. Thats one of the reasons that this old girl will remain pretty much untouched as long as I'm breathing.

Nice car, bud...good find.

At the risk of getting hammered by the old farts here, I'm gonna say keep it original, until after Mrs. Rollen passes...then, you've just gotta scratch that itch, and convert it to a Blumo.

You know you want to! :D

(j/k....a stock Monaco is cool, too ;))

That was what I had in mind until we pulled her out of that little small garage and then discovered what a survivor she is. I did scratch the itch a little with the wheels and tires she got yesterday.Monaco06.jpg
