Yes it was a big relief when it fired up!

I spent the evening sorting out the temp gauge not working plus I adjusted the tappets which weren't too far out of adjustment.
It was later when I got finished so I didn't run it as to not disturb the peace..
I'll fire it up again tonight to see if it is quieter..

I am getting a bit excited now with the wrap up & it will come soon but not too soon. Probably in 3 weeks..

Had a B/N sending unit that was dead right out of the box!

Well, that's great news. 3 weeks isn't bad at all. I have to do my temp sender also. It's bad,.but gauge is good though.
