Jack the engine on the balancer

I will need to replace the main seal one of these fine days. I am planning on replacing motor mounts while the engine is up a bit to help my old fingers remove bolts and so on. So, I am worried about loading the balancer rubber like this, and wanted some feedback from those that have gone before me. thanks

Don't jack on the balancer. Place a block of wood on the front oil pan rail and jack there.

or lift it with a hoist or Engine Support Bar
