My earliest automotive memory is of my parent's 67 Fury III 4 door. We pulled a trailer to Colorado for summer vacation in 1970. I was 4 years old and don't remember everything but I do remember that car.
Saw this on that auction site and it just spoke to me.

67 Fury II 2 door sedan. 383, 727 and A/C. PS, PB and a fair amount of corrosion on the passenger's side floor.
But it runs.
 
Very nice score! You don't see too many 2 door post sedans around, and it's a big block, a/c car too. Don't fret the floor pans. You can graft in clean used or fabricate new ones. I'm looking at the pics of the lower quarter panels and have a good feeling about the car. I live in the rust belt of SW Pennsylvania so I know a little about rust. Good luck and post more pics when you can.

A lowly Fury II ordered up with big block and AC.
I am guessing a travelling salesman special that towed a trailer, lol.

The Sport Fury was neat, but yeah - the rust.
The frame sections and trunk floor are pretty clean on the (my) sedan.
 
Nice car. The 2 door sedans look great. Back in 1970 a good friend of mine had a Fury I 2 door sedan also with a 383 and torqueflite. His was not the original motor and tranny. The car was owned by a couple of guys who raced it and kept the original motor for another car they were racing. It was repainted metallic red, and it had writing underneath the paint that was not sanded down. When the car was wet, if you looked at the car close and from the right angle, you could see "NHRA RECORD HOLDER" on the quarter panel. There was writing on other parts of the car, but I could never make them out. Sadly, the car was totaled when someone ran a red light and hit him. The car had body-colored rims with dog dish hubcaps and white letter tires.

It's an unusually-configured car for sure.

I still like the Sport Fury the same seller has, but the rust is a dealbreaker for me.
I can't swing a dead cat at my house without hitting a project car, so the only attraction on the SF is that it's ~100 miles away.
A guy could sink $2k in the Sport and it would still only be worth what he paid for it...
 
Very cool car. I probably would have bought it also. I have always been a fan of post/coupe body styles. Especially, B Bodies.
 
When I got my ‘61 Plymouth station wagon, it was full of early ‘60’s stuff. None of which belonged to the wagon. Lots for ‘67 Fury’s. Tail lights, gauge cluster(calibrated), quarter panel extensions. Etc. Also Valiant parts. Little bit of everything. If you need anything, give me a shout. Thanks George 509-520-3699
