Now, what could a turquoise 1970 Polara be doing on the road today, sandwiched between a 1971 GB2 Challenger convertible and a 1972 GY4 New Yorker (looking, in the rearview mirror, suspiciously like Buttercup)?

Well, two of my cars needed exercise after sitting in the garage since Carlisle, so @Imperialist67 and I drove them to the Kensington park auto show. It is a small event held every year at a retirement home just north of Bethesda, MD to raise money for Alzheimer research.

The weather was fantastic. Here are some photos from the show.

First is Regina, my FQ3 Polara ‘vert, parked next to a 1949 Yukon Gray Plymouth DeLuxe (P18). A red 1966 Corvette hardtop and a silver Porsche 996 ragtop are parked further to the right.

Next is Buttercup, my 1972 NYB. She is parked next to a gorgeous, fully redone 1964 Oldsmobile Starfire of similar color. Further to the right is a cream-colored Mustang hardtop.

More eye candy. A Caribe Aqua (turquoise) 1968 Cadillac Calais was parked 3 cars down from Regina (turquoise too!). Great car, incredibly well preserved original cloth-and-vinyl turquoise interior. Between the Caddy and the Dodge were two Chevys, whose owners can be seen -- very nice folks.

For @cuda hunter we have JS27H1D284339 (typo: JH27H1B284339) — the GB2 1971 Challenger that was in front of Regina on the way to the show, and whose owner I’d met at the Sully show back in June. It was parked here between a yellow Alfa and a black Chevelle.

Nice pics. I've seen that yellow 64 Starfire at shows in the past. It is a beautifully restored car. I went to a little local 50 car show on Saturday in Berryville, Virginia and we had a respectable showing of Mopars for the size of the show. But, only one C-body. It wasn't mine. I took my 68 Barracuda this time.

...But I did take the Fury out to the local cruise in Friday night. It was the first time I had it out this year. Had to fix an intake manifold leak and rebuild the carb to get it back on the road.

Back to the Kensington show. A very stylish lady brought a small buggy based on a Fiat 500. Very cool, parked next to a 'vette. Ford and what looks like a Porsche 356 Speedster in the background.

Here's the Porsche. Behind it is what seems to be a 1967 'vette convertible. At the very back is a 1982 Toyota Celica Liftback, the only Japanese car at the show.

And her's the Ford:

And here is a photo of a bunch of rear ends, to end this post:

You posted pics of the Challenger vert and the yellow 64 Olds Starfire at the Kensington car show. Saw both those cars at the Rockville, Maryland car show yesterday. But, there's always a full row of interesting Mopars at that show. Here's just a few of this year's crop. Hadn't seen a Fury in the Mood Indiglo in years.

Thanks a bunch! I always appreciate seeing a new one around.
Looks like maybe B3? Good looking car!

I have to correct just a little here, That vin is JS27H1B284339.
In 1971 the only plant that produced Ebodies was the Hamtramck plant in Detroit.
The Los Angeles plant, E , produced Ebodies in 1970 only.
The Hamtramck and Los Angeles plants were the only plants to produced an Ebody.

That navajo just shines in the sun! Looks awesome!

I must say, that B9 72 Imperial is stunning.

And that 71 Fury, wow! Surprisingly great and crisp looking in FC7 with that white top!
