I recently bought a 67 fury II wagon 318 3 speed auto (my 1st mopar). I am looking for a kickdown rod. Any suggestions on where I should look? Thnx.

In the Killeen area, there used to be a Mopar-only salvage yard. Haven't seen any ads lately, so it might not be there any more. Otherwise, you can network with the Mopar Muscle Cars of Austin. The "younger" Central TX Mopars is oriented toward "modern muscle" Mopars. Plus www.moparmuscleclub-sa.org for the San Antonio group.
Also head over to www.mymopar.com and download the factory service manual and parts manual. In the front of the parts manual is a chart to decode the underhood data plate. Then you can head over to www.hamtramck-historical.com and look in the Library section for the related Dealer Order Guides for option codes and what they include. Interior trim items can be found in the related Color and Trim Guides.

For some reason, my laptop will not make the complete Hamtramck Historical website address, stopping half-way with the blue letters and underline. It seems to do that, for some reason, consistently. I got to where I'd make an additional statement that the reader might need to input it manually, but did not this time.

Don't you love modern technology that won't do what you tell it because some programmer thinks he's smarter than you?
I have the same problem with AI changing text messages as I type them into my smart phone. GRRRR!!!

I ended up just using the nee cable kit. Seems to be working. I will keep my eye out for a rod for the future. Thnx everyone.

They just dropped ONE word from their FORMER motto of "Don't be Evil." Guess which word!
