The car is listed for sale again currently on Kijiji.
It's advertised as having a rear window defogger, which is visible almost lying on the trunk floor in one picture, and the car even has the respective switch in the dash. Yet that option (H31) was not available on convertibles, for obvious reasons, which is why it does not appear on the fender tag.

So what is the last known build convertible at the moment ....?

Not knowing if you read 69CoronetRT's posts in this thread, this is just a reminder that without substantial additional documentation, the actual date of production of 1970 model year cars cannot be determined.

Having said that, in terms of latest/newest SPD and highest sequence number, the 1970 Chrysler Newport convertible belonging to c-barge (who started this thread) still seems to hold the pole position, unless I maybe missed some car in this thread. SPD is 701 and VIN is CE27L0C262955.

@Timmy 300 ragtop has posted the tag for CM27TOC235784 , a rare FY1 yellow 300 ’vert that he has owned for 15 years and posted up for sale earlier this month. Here is the tag for records. The scheduled build date was May 12, 1970.

CE27L0C253729 has been for sale in Milford, Ohio for almost two years. The latest thread re: this DR8 burgundy Newport with E2Y4 gold bench interior and V3W white top is here. Below is the tag for records; I decoded it in this post back in 2018.
