From day one I have always stated my name and City/State. Perhaps it comes from being a public employee where everything we do and say is recorded everyday for litigation and public opinion. My job is a 911 Dispatcher and myself as a type "A" personality so holding my comments in can be challenging but I have done it for 28 years. My part time job is also as a local elected Alderman. So I have a double target on my back and the press would eat me alive if I screw up.
P.S. Don't put you finger in front of your car plate picture when on craigslist. State law prohibits giving out plate info for anything other than law enforcement purposes.

People do that so there plate isn't visible. There's many Internet hacks that can pull plate info.
