Look at this Dodge Polara

How much interchanged and was any of the sheet metal the same.
Front and rear look different but do the doors and fender lines match up to any of the C bodies?
Like doors on 68-70 b bodies.

Bodies were fully redesigned in '65, so pretty much nothing in the way of sheet metal is the same as to fitting the older cars.. '65-'66 share many of the same panels as do '67-'68. Trim features usually moved so the holes might be in the wrong place for trim mounts.

AFAIK Dodge 880's are unique for 63 and 64, 62 was a combination of a 62 Chrysler Newport with a 61 Dodge Seneca front clip. 65 was the same for 880, Polara and Monaco.

The story I've always heard was for 62, Dodge and Plymouth went to all mid-sized cars, only Chrysler had a full size car. Chrysler Corp realized their blunder and came out with the 62 880 mid year. That is one reason ChryCo rushed the Chrysler Enforcer CK Police car out in 62. Police only wanted full size cars, preferably 122" WB.
