I came across a 63 383 motor with the 516 heads for 100 bucks. I m looking to replace the 361 in my 880. Any info on this year block and heads would be wonderful. Thanks in advance.

A hundred bucks?? Can't go wrong. Not a power house but perfect for a minimal cost, super reliable rebuild that will drop right in.

Those are closed chamber heads.

The 361 had closed chambers too. If it's a '63 it should have bolt down rocker shaft stands. I believe those went away after 1964. Otherwise like C said - it's a bolt in and a great swap.
