What is the minimum you would spend on any C-body just to drive around in a 20 mile radius every day and not put a nickle into. And with no guilt nor peer pressure. Includes going to Home Depot.

I paid 10,500. for my convertible and would have gone fifteen if it was priced at 16,000, but it wasnt, it was priced at 11,900.. Yes I have taken my cars to the Lowes, wal Mart, the Mall, Target, Pet Smart and Work

I drive my vert just about everywhere, it gets better mileage then my truck so anywhere I need to go that I don't need the truck, I drive it. I try not to drive it in the rain but I've gotten caught a bunch of times this summer.
Depends on the C I guess but I'd by a beater and drive the hell out of it!

I paid 8200 for Stans old one and drive it every day I don't work. I park it at Walmart, Movie theater and where ever I go, if I'm afraid to park it somewhere I don't need it.

I drive my car quite a bit. I bought it at the end of May and put 4000 miles on it so far. It's been to Walmart and Home Depot a dew times. I was driving it to work... but it's not a great neighborhood and after one of the local "gangstas" tried to break into my company car in broad daylight (one of my employees yelled at him and he took off) I rethought it. The convertible top is almost an invitation to slash.... So it doesn't go to work with me anymore.

But to the OP.... If I was looking for just a "knock around" type driver C-body... I'd figure $2 to $4K depending on condition. You gotta figure it's that much for a cheap used car these days, so it would make sense to me anyway.

I drive my NYB every day and park it everywhere. I've driven almost 14,000 in 3 years...from Baltimore to Green Bay and back and wouldn't hesitate in driving her to California or Washington state and back. She's a damn comfortable road car! The only restriction is no driving in the snow.
