The two most memorable daily driver C's over the years for me...1968 Fury I 4 Dr sedan with Slant 6/ 727 (sold when I couldn't find replacement windshield after taking a stone chip that spidered) and a 1977 Newport 4 Dr Sedan with 440/ 727 (claimed by rust). Both were haze green metallic and I miss them both. My price limit @ $2500 for a daily driver C- regardless of body type.

One of the great things about being in the "deep" south is the driving season.... 11 1/2 months. No beater required.
I would be happy to find a decent, cheap C or forward look wagon though.

I had to use my 65 coronet convertible to haul a 10' 4" PVC last week.

Sold to someone locally....never seen it since. Saw it pop up on craigslist a few years ago. And a friend said they saw it at a show in an area about an hour west of me...so maybe it's still out there?

I paid $1500 for my '68 Fury from a wrecking yard. She was too nice to send to the crusher so I took her. I've also seen a few on CL for anywhere between the $1000 to $3000 range that to me seemed fair.
