Man up, Anything goes. What will you pay for a car.

That's what I thought, Bob but I was checking anyway. Running bikes this weekend at MIR, I'm gonna pass on that.....

Going back to Stans original question:
I have two different dailys. I use a 70 GTX 440+6, V-code GTX in the summertime and a 69&70 Chrysler 300 in spring and autumn for the job. Both have been original cars with a lot of issues (rust and not used much in the last years) so I needed to do a lot of things to get them reliable back on the road.

What is the minimum you would spend on any C-body just to drive around in a 20 mile radius every day and not put a nickle into. And with no guilt nor peer pressure. Includes going to Home Depot.

Not put a nickel into? Not going to happen.

I think this New Yorker would make a good daily driver. I'd start at 2500.00.
Buy the road wheels from the Fury, put them on the NY and call it a day.

If I was to use one as a DD, it would be a 6-window definitely

is

It's FN raining here!!! I should of stayed on the East Coast and went to the race at E-Town.

I want so many cars that I would have to win the lottery to fulfill my dream list. LOL!

I'm even thinking about a 1978 Plymouth Volare wagon or Dodge Aspen wagon with air and a Slant 6 for a year round daily driver.

Yeah but who can say they've never lost paint or worse while parked in a public lot? I want ah D.D. with ah 4" well casing welded in about 12"s out side the diameter all the way around and I don't give ah ratz a$$ how much cancer it haz. If they touch me their gonna loose!

I can't stand driving around in a junky car. Even the DD could be brought to a show without getting the hard luck award.

Absolutely not, it's not worth shedding some dignity.
