Going back to Stans original question:
I have two different dailys. I use a 70 GTX 440+6, V-code GTX in the summertime and a 69&70 Chrysler 300 in spring and autumn for the job. Both have been original cars with a lot of issues (rust and not used much in the last years) so I needed to do a lot of things to get them reliable back on the road.

Being a daily: does depend in what kind of climate you live, too. A nice car will deterioate fast in some climates. So I try to use NOT a nice condition car for the "daily" job
