May have found the triple black RM I want!!!

It's about time somebody caught on. LOL!

I'm leaving now to pick it up. I will let everyone know about it and post pictures when I get back home Sunday night.

Those sneaky FCBO lurkers are watching but they won't get this one! LOL!

I think we all caught on.... and knew you would spill the beans when you got back

Hey congrats Bob, can't wait to see what you got. You must have gotten sick of waiting for the Imp in the hanger...

At this point, we dont know....... I dont see Bob getting another formal unless he was going to get rid of his current car and he swears that isnt happening.

:laughing4: That's funny I've got a dachshund that sits up on her but and begs, can't wait to see Bob comes home with.

Still waiting on the word from the seller. The guy who turned me on to the car in the first place mentioned rust in the trunk floor, trunk lid and quarters yesterday, and that the pics that are in the ad are at least two years old. This may not be the deal I've been looking for, but we'll see.

Congrats on the Newport, BTW.

Pics coming tonight. I had my lead look at the car and drive it for me. He took quite a few pics, and provided a good drive report on the car. Could go either way, so we'll see.

I'm living vicariously and anxiously awaiting the decision :)

Well, for $2,500, it's overpriced. By roughly double! The pics that were in the seller's ad are at least two to three years old. The car is a definite ten-footer, but is considerably rougher than it appears. The trunk is well-ventilated, and the rear quarters are pretty rough. The RF fender has been dented pretty deep, then pulled back and not finished. The front seat is very rough, but the rest of the interior is decent. The trunk lid needs replacing, or serious surgery for rust. It's really far rougher than I am looking to get into, especially since the car is on Victoria Island, BC. The seller is firm on the price. I'd be into the car at least $3,500 before even driving it, and that is too much for the overall condition of the Royal Monaco.

The search continues...

Not the same. The car I was interested in is in Victoria, BC and was on kijijijijijijijijijijijiijijiji.com. It, too is a black 2-door Brougham, but with a 400.

You disagree that everything looks good in black?

I agree that it looks great in black. I'm saying everything or almost all cars anyway look good in black clean.
